In the recently announced results, the 2025 Shari’ah Special Bar Examinations saw 154 candidates pass out of 629 test-takers, marking a 24.48 percent success rate. The 2025 Shari’ah Bar passers demonstrated impressive mastery in their field, with Princess Jannah Saudagar Pumbaya leading the pack by achieving the highest score of 89.97 percent, sources said.

Associate Justice Antonio T. Kho Jr., the chairperson of the 2025 SSBE, officially released the exam results along with the list of the top 10 examinees. These 2025 Shari’ah Bar passers represent a dedicated group of legal professionals ready to serve the Muslim communities in the Philippines.

Top Performers of the 2025 Shari’ah Bar Examinations

Following Pumbaya, the top scores include Ali Hadji Yusoph Batugan with 87.22 percent, Mae Joyce Sala Magbanua-Anjalin at 86.38 percent, and Ahmed-Khaled Papandayan Guro who earned 86.13 percent. Other notable passers are Marianne Esther Gutierrez Aniceto-Guinomla (85.22%), Sittie Ayra Yusoph Abedin (84.47%), and Norhaya Ali Lago (84.19%). Completing the top ten were Al-Fatah Panginma Abdullah, Noraldin Comacasar Norodin, and Ayinie Batalo Basher, with scores ranging from 83.88 to 83.13 percent.
