Eight Arrested in Mabalacat City Drug Den Raid
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Authorities arrested a suspected drug pusher and seven others during a raid on an alleged drug den in Barangay Dau on the night of August 25, 2025. The operation targeted a key figure known as alias “Manny,” 48, who had been under surveillance for weeks.
Buy-Bust Operation Leads to Drug Den Raid
Officials reported that the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3 first conducted a buy-bust operation against alias “Manny.” Following the initial arrest, anti-narcotics agents raided his residence at approximately 9 p.m., which was reportedly being used as a hub for illegal drug activities.
Inside the house, authorities found seven additional individuals—two women and five men aged between 27 and 55 years old. All were detained alongside the primary suspect as part of the crackdown on the drug den.
Seized Evidence and Ongoing Investigation
Community members said that the raid yielded 12 sachets containing about 18.77 grams of suspected shabu. The agents also confiscated various drug paraphernalia and the marked money used during the buy-bust operation. These items are now part of the evidence being processed by law enforcement.
Officials noted that alias “Manny” and his group had been monitored since July 2025, indicating a focused effort to dismantle this drug network in the area.
Charges and Legal Proceedings
The suspects are set to face charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Local authorities emphasized their commitment to pursuing justice and curbing illegal drug activities in Mabalacat City and surrounding communities.
