Massive Shabu Haul Found in Abandoned Suitcase in Cavite
Authorities in Cavite uncovered a staggering P200-million haul of suspected shabu after discovering an abandoned suitcase in Naic, Cavite. The Police Regional Office (PRO) Calabarzon reported this significant seizure early Friday morning.
The suitcase, left unattended along Friendship Road, contained approximately 30 heat-sealed sachets of suspected crystal meth, totaling around 30 kilograms. This major find has drawn attention due to its sheer volume and value.
Security Guard Spots Suspicious Luggage
According to local sources, a security guard overseeing a vacant lot noticed the green suitcase and promptly alerted the Naic Municipal Police Station patrol. This quick action led to the prompt investigation and seizure of the drugs.
Officials have since turned over the confiscated items to the Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit for thorough laboratory testing to confirm their contents.
