Akbayan party-list leads party-list race
In the ongoing 2025 midterm elections, the Akbayan party-list is making a strong showing. According to partial and unofficial results from the Commission on Elections, Akbayan has received a significant portion of votes so far.
As of 9:19 p.m., with 65.7 percent of election returns processed, Akbayan secured 2,176,033 votes. This accounts for 3.12% of the total votes cast, putting Akbayan at the forefront of the party-list race.
Other leading party-lists in the 2025 elections
Following Akbayan, the Duterte Youth party-list came next with 1,699,913 votes, or 2.44% of the votes. Meanwhile, Tingog secured 1,218,551 votes, translating to 1.75% of the total.
The top 10 party-list groups also include 4Ps, ACT-CIS, Ako Bicol, Solid North Party, Uswas Ilonggo, CIBAC, Trabaho, Senior Citizens, and ML. These groups continue to vie for seats as the counting progresses.
