Bacolod City Enrollment Hits New High
BACOLOD CITY – Enrollment figures in Bacolod City have surged this school year, with the Department of Education (DepEd)-Bacolod Division reporting 94,338 students enrolled across 199 public and private schools as of June 13. This notable increase in Bacolod City enrollment reflects strong community interest and readiness for the new academic year.
According to local education officials, 47,738 male and 46,600 female students registered between June 9 and 13. This marks a 30 to 40 percent rise compared to last year’s enrollment numbers, which ranged from 60,000 to 70,000 during the same period.
