Bagong Pilipinas eGov PH Hub Transforms Government Services

Bagong Pilipinas eGov PH Hub Revolutionizes Access

MANILA, Philippines – The Bagong Pilipinas eGov PH Serbisyo Hub is now open, aiming to make government services more accessible and hassle-free. President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the unveiling of this innovative hub at the Makabagong San Juan National Government Center, highlighting the administration’s focus on digital transformation.

Located on the entire second floor of the center, the hub serves not only San Juan residents but also people from Metro Manila and nearby provinces. This initiative is a significant step forward in providing convenient access to essential services under one roof.

Digital and Physical Integration for Convenience

Alongside the physical hub, the government launched the eGovPH Super App, a digital platform that brings together vital services from various national agencies into a single app. This combination of a physical hub and digital platform marks a major stride in the Marcos administration’s efforts to modernize public service delivery.

During the launch, a live demonstration of the eGovPH Super App was presented, showing users how to access government services seamlessly. The app allows Filipinos to store all their government IDs, settle taxes, request certificates, and complete other transactions without the usual long waits or multiple visits.

Key Officials Support the Initiative

The launch drew attendance from several top government officials, underlining its importance. Among those present were Secretaries Jonvic Remulla (DILG), Henry Rhoel Aguda (DICT), Vince Dizon (DOTr), Hans Cacdac (DMW), Ted Herbosa (DOH), as well as Undersecretaries Marlo Iringan (DILG) and David Almirol (DICT), NBI Director Jaime Santiago, and Philhealth CEO Edwin Mercado.

Hub Houses Multiple Government Services

The Bagong Pilipinas eGov PH Serbisyo Hub hosts satellite offices of key national agencies, allowing citizens to complete various transactions in one location. This setup aims to cut red tape, reduce processing times, and make government services more accessible to everyday Filipinos.

Mayor Francis Zamora of San Juan emphasized the city’s dedication to innovation and good governance through this project. “I would like to thank you, Mr. President, for establishing the Bagong Pilipinas eGovPH Serbisyo Hub here in our Makabagong San Juan Local Government Center, which we envisioned to be a one-stop shop for national government agencies and offices, which will enable our constituents to have direct and convenient access to essential social services right here in the heart of the Makabagong San Juan Government Complex,” Zamora said.

President Marcos expressed pride in this advancement, stating, “The government of the Philippines has finally moved into the 21st century and that is with the eGov app. This makes things much easier.”

A New Era in Public Service Delivery

The launch of the Bagong Pilipinas eGov PH Serbisyo Hub and the eGovPH Super App represents a transformative milestone for Philippine government services. This initiative reinforces the government’s commitment to modernizing public service and improving the daily lives of Filipinos across the nation.
