Barangay Kagawad Shot Dead in Siniloan Laguna
SINILOAN, Laguna – A tragic incident unfolded on Saturday noon, June 7, when a 51-year-old barangay kagawad was fatally shot in Barangay Llavac. Local leaders confirmed that the victim, Rin, a kagawad of Barangay Llavac, was riding his motorcycle when the shooting occurred.
According to sources, the suspect, clad in a white jacket and black helmet, also on a motorcycle, suddenly appeared and fired three shots at the victim’s back. Rin died instantly at the scene. The assailant then fled toward the town proper. Authorities are currently conducting follow-up investigations to identify and apprehend the culprit.

Ado returned home after a few hours, but when Apolinario did not come back, family members sought help from barangay officials to search for him. Authorities later recovered Apolinario’s body and brought it to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
Health Conditions and Circumstances
Police noted that Apolinario had experienced a mild stroke and had difficulty walking, which may have contributed to the accident. The community mourns the loss and calls for caution during such activities.
