BayaNiJuan Festival Ignites Tiaong’s Vibrant Spirit

Excitement Builds for BayaNiJuan Festival

TIAONG, Quezon – The much-anticipated week-long BayaNiJuan Festival is ready to light up Tiaong once again. Scheduled from June 18 to June 24, this celebration promises a lively lineup of events that highlight the town’s culture and community. The BayaNiJuan Festival aims to bring locals and visitors together, showcasing Tiaong as a growing tourist destination in Quezon.

The festival kicks off on June 18 with “A Treat to BalikBayan 2025,” welcoming returning Filipinos with warmth and festivities. The following day features a Thanksgiving Mass, the official Opening Salvo, and an Agri-Tourism Trade Fair, setting a meaningful tone for the celebrations.

Dynamic Events Fill the Festival Week

On June 20, attendees can enjoy the San Miguel Beer Plaza open mic and the energetic 3rd Meaksyon Agad Tagisan ng Kamao boxing competition. The excitement continues on June 21 with the Juanrun race and Juanayaw sa BayaNiJuan dance event, both designed to engage the community in fun and fitness.

June 22 offers a vibrant Zumba marathon alongside a car and motor show. That evening, the 2nd Pillars of Prosperity business owners night will honor local entrepreneurs driving the town’s growth. The following day, June 23, brings a unique blend of activities including Papawrmahan ng Bespren ni Juan, a dog fashion show, the Saint John the Baptist procession, and the crowning of Hari at Reyna ng Tiaong 2025.

The festival concludes on June 24 with a lively Buling-Buling Foam Party, a solemn Misa Conselebrada, and a special Mayor RJM night. This final day blends celebration with community spirit and faith.

Strong Community and Safety Measures

Local leaders noted that preparations for the BayaNiJuan Festival have been thoroughly completed. Mayor Vincent Arjay Mea emphasized that security protocols will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of all visitors throughout the week.

The festival honors Tiaong’s patron saint, John the Baptist, reflecting the town’s deep-rooted traditions. First launched during Mayor Mea’s initial term in 2022, BayaNiJuan is the youngest festival in Quezon province but has quickly grown into a vital cultural event.

“Celebrities will grace the festival from June 18 to June 24,” local sources said, adding a star-studded dimension to the community celebration.
