BTS Members Discharged From Military Mark New Chapter
Two BTS members discharged from military service on June 11, moving the iconic group closer to reuniting fully. Jungkook and Jimin completed their mandatory military duty, leaving only one member left to finish. This milestone excites fans as BTS steadily returns to the spotlight.
The two idols held a media event at Yeoncheon Public Stadium in Gyeonggi Province. Both enlisted on December 12, 2023, and served in the Korean Army’s 5th Infantry Division for 18 months. Local reports shared their heartfelt reflections during the ceremony.
“I will keep the grateful memories in my heart and cherish them for a long time,” Jimin expressed sincerely. Jungkook added, “I would like to thank the executives, my seniors and my peers. I am embarrassed but happy to be standing in front of the fans after such a long time.”

Jungkook and Jimin’s discharge follows RM and V, who completed their service on June 10. The only remaining member serving is Suga, expected to finish on June 21. Meanwhile, Jin and J-Hope concluded their military duties last year.
