One Injured in Caloocan Fire Incident
A fire broke out in a residential area in Caloocan City Saturday night, leaving one man injured, fire authorities reported. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) confirmed the incident and provided updates on the situation.
The fire began around 10:30 p.m. along East Libis in Barangay 160. Firefighters quickly responded, and the blaze was escalated to first alarm at 10:49 p.m. Due to the fire’s intensity, it reached second alarm status by 11:06 p.m.
Fire Contained and Extinguished Early Sunday
Authorities managed to bring the fire under control by 11:57 p.m., and it was fully extinguished by 2:27 a.m. Sunday. The swift action of the fire department helped prevent the fire from spreading further in the densely populated neighborhood.
Injury and Damage Assessment
The injured victim is a 53-year-old man who reportedly experienced difficulty breathing due to smoke inhalation. Emergency responders provided immediate medical assistance. As of now, officials have not disclosed detailed information about the extent of property damage caused by the fire.
