First Central Luzon Media Caravan Set for May 2025
The Communication Foundation for Asia and Polytechnic University of the Philippines – College of Communication (PUP-COC) will spearhead the First Central Luzon Media and Information Literacy Caravan on May 30-31, 2025. This important event takes place at the University of the Assumption in City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Venue and Purpose
The caravan will be held inside the College Audiovisual Room of the Cinense Library. It forms part of the International Movement for Promoting Awareness and Critical Thinking (IMPACT), a joint initiative by the two organizations. IMPACT focuses on boosting media and information literacy (MIL) by encouraging critical thinking, raising awareness about disinformation, and pushing for policies that help Filipinos make informed choices.
Who Will Participate?
Teachers, librarians, and media practitioners from across Central Luzon are expected to join this two-day seminar. Bukod pa rito, the activity aims to strengthen their skills in analyzing, creating, and responsibly sharing information.
