Central Luzon Police Seize P131M Illegal Drugs
Authorities in Central Luzon have taken a strong stand against illegal drugs, seizing P131.4 million worth of narcotics and arresting over 4,000 suspects in just five months. The Police Regional Office-3 (PRO-3) led this intensive crackdown from January 10 to June 8, demonstrating their relentless commitment to protect communities.
During this period, PRO-3 conducted 2,706 anti-drug operations, resulting in the confiscation of 19,032.93 grams of shabu, 15,409.96 grams of marijuana, and 151.59 grams of kush. These figures highlight the scale and impact of the ongoing campaign.
Steadfast Commitment to Community Safety
According to local leaders, these achievements are more than just numbers; they embody the dedication and sacrifices of police officers working tirelessly to shield the public from drug-related harm. Police Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, head of PRO-3, emphasized that the intensified anti-drug campaign aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s national directive to strengthen crime prevention efforts and ensure the safety of every Filipino.
“These figures represent more than just successful enforcement – they reflect the unwavering commitment and sacrifice of our personnel in shielding communities from the dangers of illegal drugs,” Fajardo remarked.
The ongoing operations in Central Luzon show a clear message: authorities will continue to dismantle illegal drug networks and bring offenders to justice. These efforts are crucial in building safer neighborhoods and fostering public trust.
