Class Suspensions Monday in Cordillera Administrative Region

  • Kibungan, Benguet: Face-to-face classes from day care to Senior High School are suspended.
  • Atok, Benguet: Preschool to Senior High School in public and private schools will not hold face-to-face sessions.
  • Baguio City: Classes for preschool through Grade 6 are suspended in both public and private schools.

Widespread Class Suspensions Monday in Pangasinan

  • Dagupan City: All face-to-face classes are suspended.
  • Mangaldan, San Carlos City, San Fabian, Natividad, Urdaneta, Mangatarem, Pozzorrubio, Dasol, Binalonan, and Manaoag: Face-to-face classes from preschool to Senior High School are suspended in public and private schools.
  • Burgos: Classes from day care to Senior High School and Alternative Learning System will shift to alternative learning modes.

  • Bulacan municipalities including Meycauayan City (shifted to alternative learning), Malolos City, San Jose del Monte City, Bocaue, Norzagaray, San Rafael, Obando, Balagtas, and Santa Maria (encouraged shift to alternative learning) have suspended face-to-face classes in all levels.
  • Pampanga towns Masantol, Guagua, Arayat, Bacolor, Mexico, and Candaba suspended face-to-face sessions in all levels.

  • In Nueva Ecija, Cabiao shifted to modular distance learning; Peñaranda, Zaragoza, and San Leonardo suspended face-to-face classes.
  • Olongapo City suspended all levels of face-to-face classes.

Calabarzon and Western Visayas Class Suspensions Monday

  • Batangas: Calaca shifted to online or modular distance learning; Laurel suspended face-to-face classes from kindergarten to Senior High School.
  • Cavite’s Naic suspended classes at all levels.
  • Iloilo municipalities San Joaquin, Leon, and Oton suspended face-to-face classes in all levels.

According to the latest report from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the low-pressure area (LPA 07g) is located 950 kilometers east-northeast of Eastern Visayas as of 8 a.m. today. This weather disturbance has a medium chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Local leaders emphasize that the class suspensions Monday are preventive measures to ensure the safety of students and school personnel. They encourage families to stay indoors and keep updated through official channels until the weather improves.
