Comelec Officially Proclaims 12 Winning Senators for Eleksyon 2025
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has formally proclaimed the 12 winning senators from the Eleksyon 2025 race. The event took place at the Tent City near Manila Hotel, where the victorious candidates celebrated alongside their families and supporters.
According to the national certificate of canvass, reelectionist Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go topped the race, securing his second term with 27,121,073 votes. His strong showing placed him as the leading vote-getter in the 2025 May midterm elections.

Following Senator Go, former Senator Bam Aquino returned to the Senate, placing second with 20,971,899 votes. Reelectionist Senator Ronald dela Rosa claimed third place, earning 20,773,946 votes.
Erwin Tulfo ranked fourth with 17,118,881 votes, while Senator-elect Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan secured fifth place with 15,343,229 votes. Sagip Partylist Representative Rodante Marcoleta came in sixth, tallying 15,250,723 votes.
Completing the Magic 12 Winners
The remaining senators who made it into the “Magic 12” are as follows: Ping Lacson with 15,106,111 votes; Tito Sotto III with 14,832,996; Pia Cayetano with 14,573,430; Camille Villar with 13,651,274; Lito Lapid with 13,394,102; and Imee Marcos with 13,339,227 votes.
Senator-elect Kiko Pangilinan was unable to join the proclamation ceremony as he attended his daughter Frankie’s graduation in the United States.
