Computex 2025 Highlights AI Next Innovations

Computex 2025 Showcases AI Next Breakthroughs

Computex 2025 wrapped up after four dynamic days filled with new product launches and key announcements, all centered on the global tech sector’s rapid pivot to artificial intelligence. With more than 1,400 exhibitors from 34 countries, this year’s event, themed “AI Next,” positioned Taipei as the world’s hub for next-generation computing. From consumer gadgets to enterprise AI infrastructure, the focus clearly emphasized the transformative role of AI in technology.

Nvidia set a powerful tone during the keynote speech. The company’s CEO introduced the DGX Spark, a compact yet mighty AI supercomputer designed for research labs and businesses requiring dense computing capabilities. Nvidia also unveiled NVLink Fusion, a modular AI architecture enabling seamless integration between CPUs and GPUs from various manufacturers. This innovation promises to revolutionize the way custom AI setups are built.

Adding to Taiwan’s AI future, Nvidia announced plans to build the country’s first AI supercomputer through a partnership with key local players and government support. Moreover, the new Nvidia Constellation AI hub in Taipei’s Beitou Shilin Science Park aims to nurture homegrown AI talents and developments.

AMD Advances AI and Workstation Power

AMD doubled down on AI-centric technologies with the launch of Ryzen AI Pro 300 Series processors. These chips boost neural processing unit (NPU) capabilities in business laptops, offering superior on-device AI performance and longer battery life. Additionally, the Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU, powered by RDNA 4 architecture and AI-driven upscaling, targets gaming enthusiasts seeking high-end graphics.

For professionals, AMD introduced the Ryzen Threadripper 9000 Series with up to 96 cores. These processors cater to content creators, engineers, and workstation users, reinforcing AMD’s commitment to powerful professional computing solutions.

Intel Marks 40 Years with AI Innovations

Intel celebrated four decades in Taiwan with a series of AI-focused product launches. The Arc Pro B-Series GPUs, built on the Xe2 architecture, focus on AI inference and media creation. Meanwhile, the upcoming Panther Lake chips promise energy efficiency and next-generation performance based on Intel’s 18A process nodes.

A standout feature was the debut of the AI Assistant Builder, a user-friendly tool that lets consumers create personalized AI assistants operating locally on devices powered by Intel Core Ultra processors. This aligns with Intel’s mission to decentralize AI computing and reduce reliance on cloud services.

Acer Brings AI to Everyday Devices

Acer unveiled a robust lineup of AI-enhanced products aimed at making advanced computing accessible to everyday users. The Aspire 14 and 16 Copilot+ PCs combine the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2, AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series, and Snapdragon X processors to deliver smooth AI performance.

The Swift Edge 14 AI ultrabook offers a sleek design with a matte OLED display and an impressive 21-hour battery life, perfect for mobile professionals. Acer also introduced the PD243Y E Dual-Panel Portable Monitor—a foldable dual-screen setup ideal for multitasking and remote work.

Gamers enjoyed the Predator X27U F5 OLED monitor, boasting a 500Hz refresh rate and 1440p resolution, delivering esports-level visuals for mainstream users.

ASUS Creates a Full AI Ecosystem

ASUS embraced a comprehensive AI strategy under the theme “Ubiquitous AI. Incredible Possibilities.” Central to this is the ASUS AI POD, a large server rack based on Nvidia GB300 NVL72 technology tailored for enterprise AI workloads. Complementing it is the more compact Ascent GX10 AI supercomputer, designed for startups and edge computing.

For creatives, ASUS presented the ProArt P16 laptop, featuring AI enhancements, Studio drivers, and color-accurate OLED screens. They also launched the ProArt X870E-CREATOR WIFI motherboard to complete their professional workstation lineup.

In the consumer market, ASUS introduced Zenbook and Vivobook Copilot+ PCs, alongside the Zenfone 12 Ultra smartphone, which includes advanced on-device AI for photography and personalization. The company also ventured into digital health with VivoWatch powered by HealthAI Genie and EndoAim, an AI-assisted endoscopic imaging system for hospitals.

Lenovo and KLEVV Push AI Boundaries

Lenovo rolled out AI-ready devices across various categories. The ThinkStation PGX, a compact workstation with NVIDIA GB10 GPUs and 128GB RAM, targets developers and AI researchers needing powerful setups in small footprints.

Their dual-screen Yoga Book 9i (2025) impressed visitors with flexible OLED displays and a Core Ultra 7 chip, optimized for multitasking and AI-enhanced input. For gamers, the Legion Go 2 handheld device offers PC-quality gaming powered by AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme in a portable form.

KLEVV, known for high-performance DRAM, introduced new DDR5 memory modules running at speeds above 10,000 MT/s. These modules are built for AI training and high-end gaming with enhanced thermal and power efficiency. The company also teased future support for CAMM2, aligning with upcoming laptop and workstation standards.

Computex 2025 firmly established itself as the launchpad for the AI-powered computing era. From AI-driven laptops and edge devices to enterprise infrastructures, tech leaders showcased how artificial intelligence is transforming technology and user experience. Taiwan’s tech ecosystem took center stage, ready to lead global innovation beyond just supplying components.

The next Computex is scheduled for June 2–5, 2026, with anticipation already building around the next wave of AI breakthroughs.
