BUTUAN CITY – Authorities arrested a 25-year-old construction worker on Monday for allegedly sexually molesting his 15-year-old girlfriend in Naawan, Misamis Oriental. Reports indicate that the suspect, identified as John, ranks as the 10th most wanted person in Northern Mindanao.
John’s arrest followed a warrant dated May 13, 2025, issued by a local court for statutory rape, with no bail recommended. Police confirmed the victim was assaulted near a school in 2024.
