Deaf Man Shot During Construction Site Robbery in Cavite
In a shocking incident on Sunday night, a deaf man was shot and injured during a robbery at a construction site in Barangay Paliparan 3, Dasmariñas City. The deaf victim, a backhoe operator, and a woman were inside the site barracks around 10:00 p.m. when the crime unfolded.
According to sources, four men wearing jackets and bonnets suddenly entered the barracks. Two of the assailants brandished firearms and declared a hold-up. Because the man could not hear their demands, he turned around, which led one of the gunmen to shoot him.
Robbery Turns Violent: Immediate Aftermath
The suspects quickly grabbed money and gadgets from the victims before fleeing the scene. The deaf construction worker sustained gunshot wounds to the chin and biceps. Thankfully, the other two victims rushed him to a hospital for medical treatment.
