Department of Migrant Workers Appoints New OWWA Administrator
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has named Patricia Yvonne Caunan as the new administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration. This appointment marks a significant change in leadership within the agency responsible for supporting Filipino migrant workers.
Caunan, who previously served as Undersecretary at the Department of Migrant Workers, officially took her oath of office on May 16. She was sworn in before the Secretary of the Department of Migrant Workers, Hans Leo Cacdac.
