Experience the Cool Charm of Coal Mountain Resort
Although it is located far from the city, the journey to Coal Mountain Resort is truly worth it. The fresh air and breathtaking views of rolling mountains and lush forests welcome every visitor. This place was once a coal mining site, which is why it is called Coal Mountain Resort, owned by the Caminero family.
Aside from mining, the family also farms the land, adding to its rustic appeal. Visitors will find affordable rooms and delicious food here. Personally, the best dish on their menu is the tinolang manok. Its hot, flavorful broth perfectly suits the cool climate.
Unique Pools and Relaxing Facilities
The resort offers two types of swimming pools. There is the usual pool found in most resorts and a special spring-fed pool. To reach the natural spring pool, guests must cross a bamboo hanging bridge over a stream. Safety cables beneath the bridge ensure a secure crossing.
The spring-fed pool is around 22 feet deep but has a shallow section along the edge for non-swimmers. The resort also features a mini zoo. However, some amenities like the zipline and tunnel are currently not operating.
Great Service and Cozy Accommodation
Despite some closed facilities, the resort itself makes up for it with excellent management and friendly staff. Rooms are clean, and guests can choose from various meal options. For those who want to save more, non-airconditioned rooms are ideal since the cool mountain air keeps the place comfortable.
If you plan to relax or bond with family and friends without traveling too far from the city, Coal Mountain Resort is a perfect choice. It offers physical and mental relaxation in an affordable, peaceful setting.
