DPWH Employee Arrested Following Stabbing Incident
Authorities arrested a Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) employee after a stabbing outside a video bar in Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa on May 24. The DPWH employee allegedly stabbed a local tricycle driver, sparking immediate police action.
The incident took place in front of the Rubie Touch Videoke Bar, where a physical altercation reportedly escalated between the suspect and the victim. According to reports, the suspect, identified only as Negro, 41, used a foldable knife to stab the victim, Geomar, a 28-year-old tricycle driver.

Witnesses, including a bystander named Katrina, quickly alerted authorities at the Alabang police sub-station. Responding swiftly, officers apprehended Negro at the scene. Meanwhile, the injured victim was rushed to Ospital ng Muntinlupa, where he is currently under medical observation.
The police have handed the suspect over to the Investigation and Detective Management Section for proper documentation and to initiate criminal charges. Community leaders praised the prompt response of the Muntinlupa police force.
