12 Suspects Arrested in Cavite, Batangas Drug Busts

Authorities recently conducted separate anti-illegal drug operations in Cavite and Batangas, resulting in the arrest of 12 suspects. These efforts yielded over P1.1 million worth of shabu and marijuana, alongside illegal firearms and a hand grenade, officials reported.

Major Drug Trafficker Nabbed in Bacoor City

In Bacoor City, Cavite, anti-narcotics agents apprehended a high-value individual known as “Kuya” at 12:50 p.m. on Sunday. The suspect was caught selling approximately five kilos of dried marijuana fruiting tops valued at P375,000 to an undercover officer along Tirona Highway in Barangay Habay 1.

Local leaders explained that “Kuya” is classified as a high-value individual in the illegal drug trade, which includes financiers, traffickers, manufacturers, importers, and syndicate members.

Earlier that same day at 11:10 p.m., police arrested six street-level drug pushers named “Zacaria,” “Dan,” “Julius,” “Eric,” “Arnel,” and “John” in Barangay San Nicolas 3. The operation confiscated P6,800 worth of shabu, a homemade shotgun with one bullet, and a hand grenade concealed inside a belt bag.

Batangas Drug Operations Net High-Value Individuals

In Batangas province, the police apprehended “Juliet,” another high-value individual, in Barangay Malitam, Batangas City, at approximately 11:28 p.m. on Sunday. She was found with two heat-sealed sachets containing 50 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P340,000.

Later, street pusher “Kenneth” was arrested in Barangay Sorosoro Ilayan at 7:50 p.m., with 15.38 grams of shabu worth P104,584 seized.

Multiple Arrests in San Juan Town

Prior to this, officers arrested “Arnel” and “Ronald” in a buy-bust operation in another section of the same village. They recovered shabu worth P2,040. A frisk of Ronald uncovered an undocumented .45 caliber pistol loaded with one bullet.
