On Saturday evening, Tropical Storm Tapah, locally named Lannie, officially left the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Officials reported that the storm was moving northwest at 15 kilometers per hour, positioned approximately 750 kilometers west of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
At the time of exit, Tapah had maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near its center, with gusts reaching up to 105 kilometers per hour. Local meteorologists are monitoring the storm’s path as it moves away from the country.
