Stay vigilant against election-related fake news
The Presidential Communications Office urges everyone to stay alert and report any election-related fake news, misinformation, or disinformation immediately. With the 2025 midterm elections approaching, such false information can harm the democratic process.
PCO Secretary Jaybee “Jay” Ruiz shared that authorities have already acted quickly to stop early attempts of spreading fake news.
How to report election-related fake news
Ruiz reminded the public that spreading fake news is dangerous, especially since the election is a critical pillar of democracy.
