Election return updates mark fast transmission progress
The Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) announced Monday evening that it received its first election return from Tabunoc, Talisay, Cebu. This marks the beginning of the vote tally process for the ongoing elections.
In addition, PPCRV reported that 27% of election returns from Central Luzon have already been transmitted. “We can safely and surely say that 27% of Region III has already transmitted. Mabilis po at malaki (the transmission is fast and the percentage is big),” said PPCRV spokesperson Ana Singson.
Election return updates reveal quick data processing
She also shared optimism about the incoming data. “We’re feeling that the first data is going to be a big one. The process is entering our transparency server already. That’s why we’re seeing the data but we have to process that data yet,” Singson added. This suggests that the election monitoring system is working efficiently.
Earlier reports from PPCRV noted that despite long queues observed at polling stations early Monday morning, the election process is expected to run smoothly and efficiently this year. Voters showed strong turnout, but the quick transmission of election returns points to a well-managed election day.
