Eleksyon 2025: A Call to Vote Responsibly
Just a day before the May 12 elections, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. called on Filipinos to vote responsibly to uphold the integrity of Eleksyon 2025. In a video message released on Sunday, he reminded everyone that voting is not only a right but also a duty of every Filipino citizen. This election is a chance for every voice to be heard and for people to share their hopes for the country.
The President encouraged voters to pick candidates who have integrity, compassion, and real ability to serve the public. Equally important, he urged all candidates running in Eleksyon 2025 to respect the election process.
Respecting Democracy During Eleksyon 2025
President Marcos emphasized that different opinions are the heart of democracy. However, he warned that these differences should never lead to conflict or intimidation.
He reminded everyone that the future is fought for through the ballot box — not through violence or protests. This message comes as the nation prepares for the upcoming elections, which have been declared a special non-working holiday to give voters ample opportunity to cast their ballots.
