Eleksyon 2025 Voting Begins in Batac City
BATAC CITY – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. exercised his right to vote for Eleksyon 2025 at Mariano Marcos Memorial Elementary School. Alongside him were Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos, former First Lady Imelda Marcos, and Irene Marcos.
Senior Citizens Experience Smooth Voting
Senior citizens were among the first to vote early in the morning at the same polling place. Many of them shared that the whole process this year was smooth and easy to navigate.
Seventy-two-year-old Mabel Rodrigo said the school staff gave them ample assistance, ensuring that older voters could cast their ballots without any hassle.
“Madali lang ngayon, mabilis,” Rodrigo remarked, highlighting the improved voting experience.
Early Voting for Senior Citizens and PWDs
To accommodate senior citizens and persons with disabilities, voting began as early as 5 a.m. at Mariano Marcos Memorial Elementary School. This move helped reduce crowding and allowed these groups to vote comfortably and safely.
