I’ve ordered the LRMC [Light Rail Manila Corporation] to give immediate assistance to the injured passengers,” DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon stated in a recent announcement. The malfunctioning escalator was promptly repaired and reopened for public use by 10 a.m. the following day, officials reported. This quick restoration aimed to minimize inconvenience for daily commuters.
