Filipino Celebrities Attend Global Premiere of Korean Series in Thailand
BANGKOK – Filipino celebrities Anne Curtis, Karylle, Benedict Cua, and Evan Tan recently traveled to Thailand to attend the global premiere of the Korean series “Good Boy.” The event was hosted by Prime Video and featured stars Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, and Lee Sang-yi. Anne Curtis took the opportunity to interview the Korean leads about their new series. She shared a photo with Park Bo-gum on her Instagram and expressed her joy in meeting him again during the event at IconSiam, where the premiere was held. Curtis told local media, “So very, very happy. Of course, this is the second time that I got to interview him because I hosted his fan meet a couple of years ago. So it was nice to see him again and nice to talk about his new series.”

Curtis further explained her excitement, saying, “Of course, I’m always so happy especially because we share the same industry so to see other people’s craft it makes me so happy, you know, and I’ve seen so many of Park Bo-gum’s series so you know it’s it’s always such a I’m very very grateful that I’m in this position where I’m able to interview them.” She also hinted at surprises in her interview, “May pasabog. It was very fun. We got to talk about the series. It’s something that, of course, the Filipino fans should look forward to.”
Karylle Enjoys the Premiere Experience
Karylle, known for her upcoming role as Aurora Quezon in the film “Quezon,” also enjoyed the premiere. She reflected on the excitement shared by attendees, stating, “It’s really exciting. I think what I learned growing up or growing older, you have to find new ways to live your best life and I think one of the best things is to be around people who are as excited like you, excited as you about something.” She added, “So I love that we are all here. Anne [Curtis] has been my fellow K-drama fan for a long time. So just going back to what we’ve watched in the past and that same energy and excitement is kind of ‘kilig.’”
Benedict Cua Lives the Fanboy Dream
Benedict Cua, an actor and YouTuber, described attending the “Good Boy” event as a dream come true. “Yes! Living the fanboy dream. The whole time I thought I was going to be nervous. Tinitingnan ko sila ng malapitan. Can you believe that? I was really, really dumbfounded and I kind of living surreal because it’s not every day that you get the chance to have this kind of event, let alone be a part of it,” he shared.
Good Boy Now Streaming Worldwide
The Korean series “Good Boy” is now available on Prime Video in the Philippines and more than 240 countries and regions. Fans can watch the show and look forward to engaging storylines featuring Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, and Lee Sang-yi.
