Illegal Small-Scale Mining Charges Filed
Police Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib reported that the suspects failed to present any permits or legal documents authorizing their mining activities in the area. “They were caught red-handed conducting illegal mining operations,” she said.
Authorities are now preparing charges against the suspects for violating RA 7076. The four remain under police custody as investigations continue.
