Free Law Studies for Pandi LGU Employees
PANDI, Bulacan — A landmark Memorandum of Agreement was signed on Monday between Baliuag University and the Pandi Municipal Government to offer free law studies to all qualified local government unit (LGU) employees. This initiative aims to empower LGU staff by providing access to the Juris Doctor (JD) program without financial barriers.
Under this agreement, the Pandi LGU will fully cover tuition, miscellaneous fees, academic expenses, allowances, and other related costs for eligible employees. By doing so, the local government hopes to enhance the skills and knowledge of its workforce, ultimately improving public service delivery.
Empowering Employees Through Education
Mayor Enrico Roque emphasized that the free law studies program is designed to help employees advance professionally and serve the community more competently. “Our goal is to remove financial constraints so that our staff can pursue legal education and contribute more effectively to Pandi’s development,” local officials reported.
Community members expressed appreciation for this opportunity. Engracia Mauricio, a municipal employee, said, “Mayor Roque doesn’t want us to stand still. He wants us to develop more professionally and increase our knowledge related to providing public services.”
Inspiring Confidence and Service Excellence
Evelyn Martin, Public Market Administrator in Pandi, shared how the program has motivated employees. “The help to us is greater. We are very inspired. Thank you very much for such initiatives because the benefits are not only for us but also for the entire town,” she remarked.
This free law studies program represents a significant investment in human capital, fostering a more capable and confident LGU workforce. As employees gain legal expertise, they are better equipped to address the community’s needs and uphold good governance.
