Free Online Basic Japanese Language Classes Return Nationwide
The Quezon City Public Library (QCPL) has announced the return of its free online Basic Japanese Language Classes. This popular program, which first launched in 2019, aims to make language learning accessible and promote cross-cultural understanding. Offered in partnership with a local education provider, the classes welcome learners from across the Philippines.
Mayor Joy Belmonte emphasized that the free online Basic Japanese Language Classes reflect Quezon City’s commitment to inclusive education. “The QCPL’s Free Online Language Class opens doors of opportunity for every QCitizen—reminding us that in Quezon City, learning knows no limits, and progress begins with knowledge,” she said.
Program Details and Enrollment
Participants must be at least 18 years old and have a stable internet connection, a device, and a Zoom account to join. Enrollment is completely free but limited to the first 500 applicants, accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes are set to begin on June 19.
Prospective learners can register through the official QCPL Facebook page. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email and must confirm their attendance within 24 hours. If they fail to do so, their slots will be reassigned to those on the waiting list.
