G-Force Dance Group Marks 20 Years of Impactful Dancing
G-Force dance group, founded by renowned choreographer Georcelle “Teacher Georcelle” Dapat-Sy, proudly celebrated its 20th anniversary this month. The event’s highlight was the spectacular G-Force Project 2025 concert held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, drawing nearly 2,000 enthusiastic attendees. This milestone celebration showcased the group’s commitment to purposeful and creative dancing.
Hundreds of performers lit up the stage with over 30 dynamic dance numbers spanning hip-hop, K-pop, OPM, and sensual styles. Among the stars were Maja Salvador and Cassy Legaspi, both mentees of Teacher Georcelle, alongside international choreographers Ben Tovale and Laurence Kaiwai. Teacher Georcelle herself, together with more than 700 students from G-Force Dance Center branches in Shangri-La Plaza, Quezon City, Alabang, and BGC-Blanco, also took part in this vibrant display of talent.
The dancers ranged widely in age, from as young as four years old to as seasoned as 71, highlighting dance as a lifelong passion. The concert culminated in an uplifting finale where all performers moved to the song “I’m G,” inviting the audience to join in from their seats.
Stars and Supporters Celebrate the G-Force Legacy
Among the crowd were familiar faces such as news anchor Iya Villania with her husband Drew Arellano, and social media star Niana Guerrero. Maja Salvador, who began learning under Teacher Georcelle as a teenager, expressed her joy, saying, “I am happy na kapag may ganitong G-Force Project ay naiimbitahan tayo. I can’t say ‘no’ to them.”
Teacher Georcelle expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming support, viewing it as a reflection of the creative movement she has nurtured for two decades. “It’s a humbling and deeply fulfilling experience,” she shared. “What started as a movement has become a national force—not just in dance, but also in culture.”
She emphasized that consistency in passion and purpose has built a lasting legacy. “G-Force has become a platform for the transformation of lives, careers, and mindsets.”
Future Plans and Vision for G-Force
Looking ahead, G-Force plans to continue inspiring expression, discipline, and confidence through its dance workshops. Upcoming projects include a dance retreat, a workshop series in Canada, and another concert set for July 20 at The Theatre at Solaire.
Teacher Georcelle assured fans that G-Force would evolve by integrating technology, wellness, and global collaborations. Yet, she affirmed, “at its core, we will always be about people—helping the next generation move not just with rhythm, but with purpose.”
