The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued an advisory highlighting the threat of severe weather.
According to a thunderstorm alert released at 7:33 p.m., Metro Manila along with Cavite, Tarlac, Bataan, and Zambales are already experiencing heavy to intense rainfall accompanied by lightning and strong winds. This intense weather is expected to continue for the next two hours and may spread to nearby locations.
Precautionary Measures Advised Amid Heavy Rain
Authorities strongly advise everyone to take safety precautions due to the risk of flash floods and landslides triggered by these conditions. “All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” local sources said.

Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are forecasted over Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Batangas, Laguna, and Quezon within the next two hours. Residents in these areas should remain vigilant and stay updated on weather developments.
