Three Drownings Reported Amid Heavy Rains in Luzon

Motorcyclists Swept Away in Antipolo River
In another incident in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City, Rizal, two motorcyclists faced peril when they tried to cross a swollen river around 2 p.m. The river’s water level was dangerously high due to the ongoing rain.
The motorcycle stalled, forcing driver Mike, 25, and passenger Raymond, 33, to push it to safety. However, the strong current swept them away. Residents rushed to help and managed to save Mike.
Raymond was later rescued and rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Local responders expressed concern about the risks of crossing flooded areas during the storm.
