LEGAZPI CITY, Camarines Sur — Classes in several parts of the Bicol region were suspended on Thursday due to continuous heavy rains caused by the Tropical Depression Crising. The storm had maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour with gusts reaching up to 70 kph. It was moving west-northwest at 15 kph.
By 8 a.m., PAGASA reported that moderate to heavy rains were affecting the provinces of Camarines Sur, Albay, Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Camarines Norte, Masbate, and Marinduque. Local officials remain vigilant as they continue to monitor the storm’s progression.
