Illegal Drugs Seized from High-Value Suspects in Bulacan
Authorities seized over P280,000 worth of illegal drugs from a high-value drug suspect and four others in Bulacan during operations conducted on June 6 and 7. The operation targeted significant players in the province’s illegal drug trade, local leaders noted.
The City of San Jose del Monte (CSJDM) police, together with the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), arrested a high-value drug suspect in Barangay Gaya-Gaya. The suspect, known as alias “Didis,” 26, is a resident of the area and a member of the Mangoda Group, which authorities say is involved in gun-for-hire activities, gun-running, and drug sales.
Details of the Arrest and Seizure
Alias “Didis” was apprehended around 10:50 p.m. on Friday, June 6, in Barangay Gaya-Gaya. Seized from him were suspected shabu valued at P238,000, a .38 caliber revolver, three rounds of ammunition, a pouch, and marked money used in the operation. Sources said these items link him directly to ongoing illegal drug operations in the province.
Additional Arrests in Bulacan
On Saturday, June 7, the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of the City of Malolos, San Rafael, San Miguel, and Hagonoy conducted separate buy-bust operations. Four other drug suspects were arrested during these operations. Authorities recovered illegal drugs worth P44,540 and marked money from these suspects.
All arrested individuals, along with the confiscated evidence, were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit. Cases for violations of R.A. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, are being prepared for filing in court.
These recent anti-illegal drugs operations highlight ongoing efforts to dismantle drug networks in Bulacan. The coordinated actions between local police units and provincial intelligence teams demonstrate a strong commitment to curbing illegal drug activities.
