Bulacan Authorities Seize Illegal Drugs Worth Over P280,000
Authorities in Bulacan seized illegal drugs worth more than P280,000 during separate anti-illegal drug operations on June 6 and 7. The crackdown targeted a high-value drug suspect and four others, according to sources.
The City of San Jose del Monte (CSJDM) police, together with the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), arrested a 26-year-old suspect known as alias “Didis” from Barangay Gaya-Gaya. He is reportedly a member of the Mangoda Group, which is involved in gun-for-hire activities, gun-running, and illegal drug sales across the province. The arrest occurred around 10:50 p.m. last Friday.
Seizure Details and Arrest of Alias “Didis”
Authorities confiscated suspected shabu worth P238,000 from alias “Didis.” They also recovered a caliber .38 revolver, three live ammunition rounds, a pouch, and marked money used in the operation. Local officials noted that this arrest is a significant blow to the group’s illegal operations in Bulacan.
Additional Buy-Bust Operations Yield More Arrests
On Saturday, June 7, the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of the cities of Malolos, San Rafael, San Miguel, and Hagonoy conducted separate buy-bust operations. These coordinated efforts led to the arrest of four more suspects involved in illegal drug activities.
The police recovered illegal drugs worth P44,540 and marked money from these suspects. All arrested individuals, along with the confiscated evidence, were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for further examination and processing.
Legal Actions and Case Preparation
Authorities confirmed that appropriate cases will be filed against the suspects for violating R.A. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. The legal process is underway to ensure the suspects face the full extent of the law.
