MANILA, Philippines — Speaker Martin Romualdez vowed that justice will be served as authorities apprehended two suspects linked to the killing of a House of Representatives official. According to police reports, four suspects remain at large. Among them are a live-in couple believed to be the masterminds, their assistant named “Christian,” and the gunman. These individuals are now the focus of intensified efforts by law enforcement.
Romualdez called on the National Bureau of Investigation and other agencies to increase their pursuit of the remaining suspects. “This was not only a heinous crime but a betrayal of decency. Morie was a respected public servant and a devoted family man. He deserved none of this. We will not rest until justice is fully served,” he said.
