K-pop Group ILLIT’s Third Mini-Album Bomb Release

K-pop Group ILLIT Announces Third Mini-Album Bomb Release

K-pop group ILLIT is set to make a powerful comeback with the release of their third mini-album, Bomb, scheduled for June 16. The album explores the theme of expanding their world through new interactions with “you,” deepening the connection they began in their earlier works. This new chapter builds upon the journey of self-discovery featured in their debut album, Super Real Me, and the blossoming affection expressed in their follow-up, I’ll Like You.

ILLIT continues to captivate fans with their signature quirky charm and bold energy. As they evolve, the group is defining their unique identity while raising excitement for their growing appeal around the world.

Illit’s Impressive Global Achievements and Growing Presence

Since their debut last year with the track Magnetic, ILLIT has made remarkable achievements. Magnetic became the first and fastest K-pop debut song to enter both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100, highlighting the group’s rapid rise in the international music scene.

Following this, their mini-album I’ll Like You reached No. 94 on the Billboard 200, and the group secured the top spot on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. This year, ILLIT expanded their global footprint by winning their first US award—Best New Artist (K-Pop) at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

In Japan, their soundtrack for a local movie, Almond Chocolate, achieved the highest position among K-pop girl group tracks on Oricon’s Weekly Streaming Chart this year. Their recent collaboration with Disney star Kylie Cantrall on the track See U Tonight (featuring Yunah and Minju of ILLIT) further cemented their growing influence.

Pre-orders and What to Expect from Bomb

Pre-orders for Bomb began on May 19 through the Weverse app, allowing fans worldwide to secure their copy in advance. The album promises to enchant listeners once again with its mix of energetic beats and heartfelt storytelling.

ILLIT’s evolving sound reflects a deepening emotional connection with their audience, as they explore new dimensions of relationships and self-expression. Fans can expect a continuation of the group’s playful yet powerful style, making Bomb a highly anticipated release in the K-pop scene.
