Kim Chiu Opens Up: Naiinggit Ako Sa Mga Nanay This Mother’s Day

Kim Chiu’s Emotional Confession This Mother’s Day

During the recent Mother’s Day celebration, Kim Chiu opened up about a deeply personal and painful part of her life. The popular TV host and actress shared how she grew up without her mom, a story that touched many hearts. She revealed on the noontime show “It’s Showtime” that she hasn’t been with her mother since she was a child.

“10 years old pa lang ako, hindi ko na siya nakasama because of personal problems na ayaw na niya kaming makita,” Kim tearfully recounted. Despite the pain, she bravely told how the last time she saw her mother was when she was 23 years old—only to find her in a coma.

Heartfelt Reflections on Naiinggit Ako Sa Mga Nanay

Kim admitted, “Kaya every Mother’s Day, naiinggit ako sa mga taong may nanay.” This honest confession reveals the deep longing she feels during this special occasion.

Public Reaction: Empathy and Shared Pain

Kim’s story resonated deeply with viewers. Many netizens expressed tears and empathy in the comment section. Some shared their own experiences of losing their mothers early or longing for the chance to be with them again.

Comments ranged from simple support, like “[red heart emoji] I feel her on this. It’s never easy on this journey,” to heartfelt confessions: “I miss my mother also…huli ko siyang nakita naka-incubator siya. Yes naiinggit ako sa may nanay pa…Love your mom as love yourself…mahirap mawalan ng isang ina [crying face emojis].”

Others praised Kim’s strength, noting how she has overcome hardship: “Thats why Kim is a strong woman. She had a challenging life growing up and adulting. She works hard and deserves every blessing.”

Another shared, “I feel you Kimmy. I was 18 nawala nanay ko, sobrang sakit. Wala ka nang katuwang sa loob, naging breadwinner din ako, ako na rin tumayong nanay sa dalawa kong kapatid.”

Kim’s candid sharing this Mother’s Day reminds us all to cherish the time with our mothers while we still can. Her story encourages appreciation and gratitude, especially during moments meant for honoring the special bond between mother and child.
