Laban San Fernando Sweeps 2025 Local Elections
Mayor Vilma Caluag achieved a decisive win in the 2025 local polls, securing her position with a wide margin. Alongside her, the entire Laban San Fernando team triumphed, completing a clean 12-0 victory.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) City Board of Canvassers officially proclaimed Caluag early Tuesday, May 13, at Heroes Hall. She garnered 127,124 votes, far surpassing her closest opponent, Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab, who received 49,061 votes.
Strong Wins for Vice Mayor and Councilors
Vice mayoral candidate Brenz Gonzales also secured a commanding win with 128,191 votes. He defeated BJ Tiger Lagman, who managed 43,230 votes.
Joining Caluag and Gonzales in victory were councilors Noel Tulabut, G4 David, Harvey Quiwa, Tino Dizon, Ate Kay Pineda, Angelo Hizon Jr., Jay Cuyugan, Mark Joseph Carreon, Jayson Sicat, and Elmer Bengco. All these leaders ran under the Laban San Fernando ticket, marking a complete sweep.
