A man was caught after allegedly raping a woman he once shared drinks with in Valenzuela City months ago. Authorities tracked him down in Quezon City, leading to his arrest following a formal complaint.
“Galing siya sa bus, nasundan natin, sumakay ng motor, at nahuli siya sa nasabing lugar,” said Police Colonel Gonzalo Villamor, Deputy Director for Admin, PNP Maritime Group. The suspect got off a bus, rode a motorcycle, and was finally apprehended.
Police revealed the suspect took advantage of the victim while she was drunk and led her to a room. Tracking him proved difficult as he changed his appearance—now sporting long hair, a beard, and a moustache.
The investigation continues as authorities dig deeper into the case.
