Community and Government Unite for Education
The Las Pinas city government launched the Brigada Eskwela activities at Las Pinas Elementary School Central in Elias Aldana on June 10. The event drew participation from various stakeholders, including local officials, partner organizations, and school staff, all pledging to support public education through volunteerism and resource mobilization.

Pledge of Commitment and Recognition
A significant moment during the kickoff was the signing of the Pledge of Commitment, where supporters vowed to sustain their efforts for public education. Certificates were also awarded to institutional partners who have consistently backed Brigada Eskwela over the years.
Mayor-elect Aguilar underscored that Brigada Eskwela remains a cornerstone program of the Department of Education. It mobilizes communities nationwide to volunteer and prepare schools, fostering a culture of shared responsibility for education.
The weeklong campaign continues until June 13, with activities focused on cleaning, repairing, and readying schools to welcome students safely and comfortably.
