Las Piñas Rolls Out Lab For All Caravans
The city government of Las Piñas has begun a series of Lab For All Caravans to bring vital medical services directly to its residents. This initiative focuses especially on those who struggle to access healthcare facilities. Since the program’s launch, more than 600 locals have already benefited from free medical and social services.
Las Piñas Mayor-elect April Aguilar highlighted that the Lab For All Caravans provide crucial healthcare options right in the community. Services include free medical consultations, laboratory tests, eye exams with free eyeglass distribution, as well as BMI and blood sugar screenings. Moreover, maintenance medicines are given for free through the Department of Health’s support.
Community Health at the Forefront
The Lab For All Caravan is a nationwide project initiated by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos. It aims to improve access to health and social welfare services for all Filipinos. Local officials noted that this program strengthens the government’s commitment to inclusive healthcare.
Mayor-elect Aguilar personally attended the kickoff at CAA Elementary School’s covered court to ensure smooth delivery of services. She emphasized the city’s full cooperation with national agencies to reach more underserved residents. “We are committed to helping the Las Piñeros who have limited healthcare access,” she said.
Expansion to More Barangays
The series of Lab For All Caravans will continue, targeting additional barangays across Las Piñas. Local leaders expect more communities to benefit from the upcoming medical missions. These efforts not only bring health services closer but also foster stronger community support.
