LRT-2 Operations Delayed Due to Technical Problem
MANILA, Philippines — Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) experienced delays on Wednesday because of a technical problem. The LRT-2 operations faced interruptions, affecting commuters during rush hours.
According to the latest advisory issued around 7 a.m., the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) announced that LRT-2 is currently running a provisional service. The train is operating only between Recto Station and Araneta Center-Cubao Station.
“The train is operating from Recto Station to Araneta Center-Cubao Station and back,” the LRTA said in a statement. However, it did not disclose the exact cause of the technical issue or when full service would resume.
