LTO Courier Hub Operating Hours Extended Starting August
Beginning August 2, 2025, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) will expand the operating hours of its courier hub at the Central Office in Quezon City. This change means the LTO courier hub will now also be open on Saturdays, operating from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in addition to the usual weekdays.
The LTO courier hub extension aims to improve public service and speed up the issuance process for license plates. Officials said the longer hours will help meet the growing demand and provide more convenience, especially for those who find weekday visits difficult.
Weekday Hours Also Lengthened for Better Service
Along with Saturday operations, the courier hub will extend its weekday hours as well. Instead of closing at 5 p.m., the hub will remain open until 6 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. This adjustment is expected to give motorists additional time to process their documents and pick up their license plates.
Online Tracking and Delivery Options
To further assist drivers, the LTO recently launched the LTO Tracker, a tool that allows motorists to easily monitor the status of their license plates online. The tracker is accessible via the official LTO website or the eGovPH app, making it simple and convenient to check progress anytime.
License plates can be collected in person at LTO district offices or delivered directly through courier services. This dual option gives vehicle owners flexibility, similar to the driver’s license renewal process.
Backlog Eliminated for Motorcycle License Plates
Transportation authorities also reported the successful clearing of the long-standing backlog of motorcycle license plates nationwide. This milestone marks a significant improvement in the agency’s operations and service delivery.
With these enhancements, the LTO courier hub is committed to providing faster, more accessible services to Filipino motorists. The extended operating hours and new tracking system reflect the agency’s dedication to easing the licensing process for all.
