Celebrity Parents Guard Daughter’s Privacy
Nearly a year after welcoming their daughter Maria on May 31, celebrity couple Maja Salvador and Rambo Nunez remain firm in their decision to keep their young child away from social media. They believe Maria is not yet ready for public exposure or product endorsements.
During the recent launch of Maja’s body care brand in Quezon City, she shared, “Kahit na sabihin nilang name your price, hindi po talaga.” This means no matter the offer, they will not allow Maria to be part of commercial endorsements.
Rambo also expressed hope that fans will respect their choice to protect their daughter’s privacy. “I hope they respect our decision not to post photos of Maria on social media,” he said.
Understanding the Impact of Social Media Exposure
Rambo elaborated on the challenges of raising a child in today’s digital age. He explained that Maria’s personality is still developing, and unexpected interactions could affect her differently.
He added that when Maria becomes aware and willing to share her image, the decision will be hers alone. It comes with security na rin. I guess that’s being responsible as parents.”
Committed to Responsible Parenthood
Rambo emphasized their commitment to responsible parenting despite the difficulties. “Ayaw naming balikan kami ni Maria in the future na wala na siyang buhay. That’s what we want to do.
Maja and Rambo plan to let Maria decide when she is ready to be publicly visible. I want to have my own TikTok or Instagram.’ She will decide. Then kunwari sinabi niya, ‘Mama, I want to dance with you.'”
Milestones and Celebrations Away from the Spotlight
Maja proudly described her daughter’s features and achievements. “Yung eye lashes niya para siyang naka eyelash extensions.” Rambo added that Maria is advancing quickly, walking early, recognizing animal sounds, and even blowing out candles after just half a day of teaching.
Concerns over Artificial Intelligence and Privacy
From the start, Maja expressed concerns about sharing Maria’s images online due to the risks posed by artificial intelligence. “Sa totoo lang, natatakot ako sa AI. Baka gamitin yung picture. Maski ako hindi natin alam na ginagamit na pala nila mga yung picture o video,” she said.
She also thanked those who respect their decision not to post photos yet.
