Malabon City Mayor Remains in Power After Elections

Jeannie Sandoval will continue serving as the mayor of Malabon City following her victory in the May 2025 midterm elections. According to the partial and unofficial tally from the Comelec Media Server as of early Tuesday morning, Sandoval secured 92,621 votes.

Her closest competitor, Jaye Lacson-Noel, received 50,409 votes. This clear lead confirms Sandoval’s position to remain at the helm of the city government for another term.

Vice Mayor Race Sees Edward Nolasco Win

In the vice mayoral contest, Edward Nolasco emerged as the winner with 56,515 votes. Other candidates in the race included Angelika dela Cruz, who garnered 42,207 votes; Jap Garcia with 29,252 votes; and Dado Cunanan who earned 12,530 votes.

These results reflect the voters’ preferences and set the leadership direction for Malabon City moving forward.
