Authorities in Olongapo City, Zambales arrested a man last Monday after he allegedly threatened a woman online by threatening to post sexually explicit videos of her if she refused to have intercourse with him. The man’s arrest came after the victim sought police help, sources said.

Confiscation and Charges Filed
During the arrest operation at a hotel in Barangay Barretto, officers confiscated the suspect’s smartphone. The device contained the victim’s nude photos and videos, which are key evidence in the case.
The suspect now faces serious charges before the National Prosecution Service, including grave threat and violations of Republic Act 9995—the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act—in relation to Republic Act 10175, or the Cybercrime Prevention Act.
