Man Faces Arrest Warrants for Alleged 2016 Rape Case
A man already detained on illegal drugs and gambling charges was served another warrant of arrest, this time for allegedly raping his 13-year-old cousin in 2016 in San Mateo, Rizal. Gerald was served the new warrant inside the Custodial Facility-Male Dormitory of the San Mateo Municipal Police Station in Barangay Guitnang Bayan 1 on June 10. This followed his arrest on June 4 for illegal drugs and gambling offenses. The warrant, issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 75, San Mateo, Rizal, dates back to June 28, 2016, and charges him with two counts of sexual abuse. The court recommended a bail of P400,000.
